زينب حاج بليل الزين، كاتبة سودانية. ولدت في 7 مارس 1947 في مدينة سنجة في ولاية سنار، وهي عضو اتحاد الكتاب السودانيين وعضو رابطة الأديبات. بدأت موهبتها في لمرحلة الوسطى حيث بدأت بالتردد على المكتبة المدرسية، ويمكن القول بأن بداياتها ككاتبة بدأت بموضوع تعبيرٍ في حصة الإنشاء، حيث أثنى عليه المعلم وقال لها إنها ستخلف «ملكة الدار محمد» ولم تكن تعرف في ذلك الوقت من هي «ملكة الدار محمد». كانت تستمع يومياً إلى إحجيات جدتها فيما اسمته بالمستفيد الوحيد من تلك الحكايات كونها مستقبلاً أصبحتُ كاتبة رواية وقالت ان الجدة تبدأ دوماً بتلك الأهزوجة «حجيتكم مابجيتكم، خيراً جانا وجاكم»
الدرجات العلمية:
حصلت على دبلوم معهد تدريب المعلمات وتخرجت من كلية الموسيقى والدراما بجامعة السودان تخصص نقد ودراسات مسرحية، وحصلت أيضاً على دبلوم في الدراسات الإنسانية.
المسيرة العملية:
تعمل معدة ومقدمة برامج، أعدت وقدمت برنامج «منتدى القصة» بإذاعة الخرطوم، وبرنامج «كن جميلاً» بالإذاعة الطبية، وبرنامج «كلام سوداني» بالإذاعة القومية، أعدت حلقات مسلسل «الخرطوم والناس» بالإذاعة القومية.
تشغل منصب رئيس منتدى السرد والنقد، ومنصب رئيس منظمة نساء السودان لمحاربة الفقر.
عضو اتحاد الكتاب السودانيين، وعضو رابطة الأديبات، وأمين السرد باتحاد الأدباء السودانيين، وعضو لجنة جائزة «الأم المثالية» شركة زين للهاتف السيار السودان.
عضو منظمة الشهيد الزبير للإبداع والتميز العلمي.

جوائز:
حصلت الكاتبة زينب بليل على جائزة الدولة للنصوص الدرامية عن المحاكمة في عام 1975م، وجائزة الشهيد الزبير للإبداع والتميز العلمي عن رواية «نبات الصبار».

Zainab Belail
Zainab Haj Belail Al-Zain, a Sudanese writer, was born on March 7, 1947, in the city of Sennar, located in Sennar State. She is a member of the Sudanese Writers Union and the Women Writers Association.
Her talent began to blossom during middle school when she frequented the school library. Her journey as a writer is said to have started with an essay in a composition class, where her teacher praised her work and told her she would be the successor to “Malikah Al-Dar Muhammad,” a name she was unfamiliar with at the time. Zainab also credits her grandmother’s daily storytelling as an inspiration for her future as a novelist, recalling that her grandmother would always start her tales with the refrain:
“Hajeetkum ma bajeetkum, khairan jaana wa jaakom”*
(“I have told you a story; may goodness come to us and to you”).

– Sudanese Talk on National Radio.
She also scripted episodes for the series Khartoum and the People on National Radio.
She currently serves as:
– President of the Narrative and Criticism Forum.
– President of the Sudanese Women’s Organization for Combating Poverty.
– Member of the Sudanese Writers Union and the Women Writers Association.
– Secretary of Narrative at the Sudanese Writers Union.
– Member of the jury for the “Ideal Mother Award” sponsored by Zain Telecommunications in Sudan.
– Member of the Zubair Martyr Organization for Creativity and Scientific Excellence.
